Since Google acquired word processing collaborator, Writely, invites have been very limited. TechCrunch sends word that you can now sign up for a Writely account.

Writely offers an easy way to share word documents and make changes in an online environment. I’ve had mixed experiences with it – sometimes it doesn’t save changes made by others – but overall it’s a neat tool.
