Hey Andy,

Great job on the move over to WP!

Two more plugins that I have to add are <a href="http://www.viper007bond.com/wordpress-plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/" rel="nofollow">Viper Video Quicktags</a> which allows you to easily add videos (YouTube, Google, WMV, etc...) to your posts and <a href="http://www.village-idiot.org/archives/2006/04/09/wp-simplecode/" rel="nofollow">Simple Code for WordPress</a> which processes standard markup so that you can display it in a post.

It seems that my post beat my comment (by the way, the title is missing the word "of" as in list OF Wordpress plugins -- it's been corrected on my site).

Thanks for making this list, it encouraged me to finally publish my own. I am particularly interested in the Wordpress Reports and Text Link Ads plugins. The Wordpress Reports plugin got me thinking about other stats plugins, some of which I have included in my list. In particular, I am wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the various wordpress stats plug-ins or stats programs such as performancing metrics? Needless to say, good stats are valuable and it would be nice to know which stats programs people have found worthwhile.

Well, that's about it for now. Enjoy wordpress!

All the best,

Moshe

Thanks for sharing Cristian.

Jeremy, I'm using the No Self Pings plugin as each time I link to my own posts, my "recent comments" list gets cluttered - the same reason Cristian has the plugin in his list.

I've been looking at Meta plugins, so thanks for sharing.

"No Self Pings - prevents Wordpress from sending pings for stuff I link to from my own site."

I actually would encourage pings from my other pages. It promotes an increase in page views through cross linking. Especially with how many posts you make.

Along the same lines I would use "Related Posts"
http://www.w-a-s-a-b-i.com/archives/2006/02/02/wordpress-related-entries-20/

Also the Meta Description plugin to create a unique description for each page. Looks like you have none for now.

One of these days I'll actually get around to finishing putting together my own site :D
