You have to love WebProNews new video blog. It’s well done, with some slick video graphics that make it look like CNN!
My inner vanity would commit suicide if I didn’t at least point you to the video of me talking about reputation monitoring.

This one of Rand, Lee and Todd, is one of my favorites. I feel for Lee – he spends the first 2 minutes waiting for Rand to take a breath!
I had the pleasure of meeting Neil Patel, of ACS, for the first time at the recent PubCon, he (and Cameron too) is a great guy and very smart. He also happens to be an expert on Digg and other social media.
I always enjoyed reading Marshall Kirkpatrick’s posts over at TechCrunch, so I am sad to hear he has left them.
The good news is that he is back at his own blog, and has left us with a post that talks about some of the ways to track news, using RSS. I’m often asked how I am able to post so often and so quickly after news breaks – RSS my friend, RSS!

Google baby’s first words…We learned today that Sergey Brin’s first word was golova, which means head in Russian.
…hardly convey an image of a site that wants to be taken more seriously. Why not just accept what Valleywag is? If you really want to compete with TechCrunch, create a site that conveys that image. I tell you what, drop me a line and we’ll chat about it.
Next week SES rolls into Chicago for the last event of the year. I’ll be there, speaking on Reputation Monitoring & Management (which is getting old, must remember to speak to Danny about a different topic).
Barry and his entourage will be blogging many of the sessions, so if you can’t make it, you won’t miss out.
