I use it for virtual post-it notes. Especially when you use the firefox extension - it makes a great way to jot down notes. You can even note URLs - so if you read something interesting you can bookmark it and note it in Notebook. As for medical questions I'm not sure how that will work out. We hear stories all the time of bad medical decisions which happen because someone incorrectly determined their symptoms and googled them. Google Notebook? I use it for virtual post-it notes.
