Imagini Offers Visual Social Network

With new social networks popping up virtually every day, standing out from the crowd is becoming a tougher proposition. One that has caught my attention is Imagini, which offers a slick and unique sign-up process.

New members fill in their profile by selecting images that best represent their personal thoughts on life.

Here’s an example question…

After you’ve completed about a dozen questions, Imagini reveals what your selections say about your personality, then offers to connect you with others in the network, that share your interests and views on life.

There’s even the obligatory widget, that allows you to show the world your photo selections. Here’s mine…

The look and feel of the site is very nice, lots of flash interfaces (a world apart from MySpace) and it’s certainly interesting to see how your image selections compare to the average Imagini user.

I’ve not delved into the actual network itself - anyone using it? - but it’s certainly winning style points for the interface.

Very cool, just watching those labeled pictures for 20 seconds, I feel like I know you a little bit. Well, at least I know what you have decided to make public on the web :)

You know, its about time really. Myspace doesn’t have the ‘professional/glossy/well thought out’ look.. well it looks a heck of a lot better then when it started but this site seems to really kick it up a notch!

Good one, Andy! I’m thinking of trying it out on my site. Pretty cool the stuff they’re coming up with!
