The April Fools’ Jokes in Search have already been well covered. In my blog reading today, I’ve only seen one mention of social sites’ April Fools’ jokes. Here’s what Facebook creators thought was funny (with my friends’ info anonymized):

    I was confused at first and thought that a friend of mine named Meredith had managed to make it say that.

    One of my friends’ blurred statuses on that screen asked ‘what is WITH Facebook today?!’

    I thought FB finally got a sense of humor. I have a friend Merrdith who breaks up with her boyfriend every other day and I thought FB was adding a little social commentary. Heh.
