Lasica speculates that Mike Lynch (Autonomy CEO)was hesitant (in 2005)to associate Autonomy to Blinkx for fear of it becoming Kenjin 2.0  Kenjin was Autonomy&#039;s first Web search product; great theory, not so great product. It bombed, but not before Lynch had told the world how brilliant it was, and how it was going to turn the search world around.

Both Autonomy and Blinkx are using wickedly innovative technology and developing some great products, yet by playing the smoke/mirror game, they appear puerile. Sadly, if the game was a marketing attempt, it fell on its butt.</description>
