Yahoo has announced the Site Explorer tool (their version of Google Webmaster Tools) has officially left beta and has gained some new features.
Site Explorer now supports mobile site feeds, offers more URL delete options and introduces a “Report Spam” submission button.
While it’s a great step forward, Site Explorer is still very limited, when compared to the Google counterpart, but I’m sure they’ll get there.

Andy,
Do you agree with Rand’s opinion that he thinks you should verify but not submit your sitemap?

And does this go for Yahoo Site Explorer as well?

Drew – I don’t think there’s a one size fits all approach. With some sites it makes sense to submit the sitemap, others you might only use a partial list of pages in a sitemap, other you won’t submit.
My normal preference is to not submit one, and let the crawlers do their thing.

I love this tool, it provides great insight and for once I think it is something google is yet to do or do better?
