My husband wrote this application and it is amazing. Not that I’m biased or anything. The phone knows where you are and you can search for banks, coffee, whatever you want. It will speak turn by turn driving or walking directions to you and if you make a wrong turn, it will know and automatically reroute you. The integration with evite means it will also give you directions to events and parties.

At $9.99 per month it sounds expensive to me.
Hopefully with some more players jumping in the prices might go down and it becomes a viable option for people to use.

I just read an article that in the UK the mobile internet usage is already 1/5th the size of wired internet usage. That’s huge numbers. I just can’t seem to do it myself. The screens are so small and the keyboards useless. I’ve tried using a Treo but it’s too big. Maybe I’m just getting old.
