Clear Channel radio is launching social networks for its radio stations.
Nielsen already has majority ownership of BuzzMetrics and is now buying the rest of the company.
Agency.com’s CEO didn’t quite fit in, so he’s stepping down to become president.
Remember MSFT’s new video player, Silverlight? They’re going to add streaming video hosting to the service.
Mamma.com owned, Copernic, is expanding its desktop search service so you can access your files from your cell phone.

I was wondering when Radio stations were going to get on the ball. They have the built in following so I see this as a great move.

Now if they can manage to find different developers than the ones they use to create their normal sites. Most every radio station site I visit is less than up to par.

The Clear Channel thing highlights an interesting point I’ve been considering lately. Probably the biggest draw of the social sites is the community. If that community continues to fragment with more and more social sites coming onto the scene won’t that dilute things back to the point they are now? Tons of sites with small cliques of fans etc?
