Have a question for tomorrow’s Marketing Pilgrim podcast? If you’d like me to discuss a particular industry trend or provide my thoughts on a marketing topic, leave a comment below and I’ll select the most interesting for tomorrow’s podcast.

  • Image optimization with regards to Google and the new universal search. Any insight on how they might pick which images to show in the organic SERPS? It doesn’t seem to be as clear cut as the top 3 in the image search section of google.

    Thanks for any insight Andy.

  • Along the same lines of the question above, universal search optimization is going to very important. I would discuss how some websites appear in Google News (Alerts specifically) and some dont. I know I have applied a few times with some of my blogs and they say that they only consider websites with more than one editor.

Of course I have a few Google Alerts I personally watch and I clearly see websites/blogs authored by one person or less (splogs) that get in all of the time. Why?

  • I know I’m probably a bit late on this one so I’ll start off by seconding what SEO and Jaan wrote above. But…

I also think it would be interesting to talk about the effect disabling arbitrage and MFA sites is going to have on both publishers and marketers.

    But I think I’m too late 🙂

  • thanks
