I would discuss how some websites appear in Google News (Alerts specifically) and some dont.  I know I have applied a few times with some of my blogs and they say that they only consider websites with more than one editor.

Of course I have a few Google Alerts I personally watch and I clearly see websites/blogs authored by one person or less (splogs) that get in all of the time.  Why?</description>
