It’s another Friday, and another selection of fine news stories.
- RIAA wins landmark music copyright case. The accused must pay $9,250 fine for each song she shared on Kazaa–that’s a total of $220,000! Maybe buying the album is cheaper after all.
- Target faces a class action lawsuit for failing to use ALT tags on their web site–making it inaccessible to the blind. (via)
- An interesting lawsuit will decide if Virgin Mobile is liable for using a Flickr photo in and ad without permission. (via)

Nice one…I liked the Virgin Mobile one…being a blogger myself i know how bad I feel when people “steal” my content or images without my consent…while using a photo to do something like this is really offensive!! serves them right to sue them!!
