    Andy,

    Although you closed comments on the apple doesn’t get it post, i had to tell you that i just loved the opinionated back and forth that your post generated! You were absolutely right in predicting the barrage, nay the avalanche of outpouring on the topic. And this leads me to believe, that with such phenomenal brand loyalty that Apple seems to inspire, they either do not need social media or that they already employ it at a more subliminal level.

    Phew! but that was really something! Did it really get abusive though? Pity about that when healthy debate degenerates into mudslinging and name calling. But do a controversial one again soon anyway:)

    @Furniture Store - thanks for the feedback. The Apple fanatics did get abusive, and they clearly didn’t understand the point of my post. I had to close the comments because most of them came to a battle of wits, unarmed. ;-)

    I’m also more thankful than a Stadium full of turkey-stuffed football fans.

    They don’t quite have Turkey Day here in Australia like I’m used to, but the $500 made up for it.
