Personalized Print Content is Here

It appears that Google can see, contrary to popular online geekers, that the demise of the print medium is greatly exaggerated.

I for one prefer to read from paper. Google sees the likes of the FeedJournal:

www.feedjournal.com

…and wants to get into the game before upstarts can get a first mover advantage on the “Personalized Print Content with targeted advertising”

I hope the FeedJournal can beat them to the punch.

Check out how the FeedJournal application has become my “Personalized News Paper” from Full-text RSS feeds I selected on my blog.

Click on the Paper to Publish and Print it in Adobe Reader:

From what I can see, google has taken the responsibility of managing ads. It would take out a whole burden from the shoulders of the publication

This is very interesting and exciting news. I did a search to see if anyone else has anything similar, and sure enough they did. I came across a site called ShelfMade.net that is offering something very similar if not identical. They don't mention anything about print ads, but I cannot imagine the magazine will be without ads. It's a very cool concept, and I'm looking forward to see these personal magazines in circulation.
