		<description>Maybe it&#039;s just my own lack of knowledge about acquisitions, but isn&#039;t this whole process taking a long time. I&#039;m surprised that similar deals with Yahoo and MSN have gone through while the Google/DoubleClick deal is being held up.

I realize the marketshare is different and puts the Google deal into a different context, but it still seems surprising to me.

I hadn&#039;t realized we&#039;re only talking 12 members of congress.</description>

		<description>I think the government should do all it can to prevent major companies like GL to become so powerful. Next thing you know GL buys a small island and builds a Googleplex on it. A month later they change the name of it on GL Maps to Googlexandria or something and then they start buying more tiny islands until the bought all of micronesia.

Sounds funny, but with all that money they&#039;ve got, who&#039;s to stop them?</description>
