I started using iTunes a few years back when I drank a ton of Mt.Dew and they gave away free iTunes downloads in the tops of the 20 oz. bottles. I've stopped drinking Mt.Dew (for my health) and using iTunes (not supported on Linux). I have downloaded a few songs from Amazon and was reasonably happy with the process.
