I agree his statement isn&#039;t quite as self-delusional as TechCrunch makes it out to be and I can see where the idea behind Beacon might be seen as less commercial than banner ads.

On the other hand a banner ad is easy to ignore. We all learned to ignore them pretty fast. Having an ad come across as a endorsement by a friend is still wrong and commercializes something that wasn&#039;t necessarily meant to be commercialized.</description>
