Microsoft seems to think it rules the world. Everytime Microsoft gets involved with a company, I stop using that company. My son says technology is satan's way of destroying the world, and Microsoft is the anti-christ. Funny, but maybe too true.

I have difficulty believing this merger would be good for competition in the search engine marketplace. Reducing the number of players in the market does not in and of itself make things better. MSFT has sought to consolidate other markets in the past and has essentially monopolized some of those markets. That has not been all good for the markets they control.

Microsoft has been pretty clear they aren't planning on taking no for an answer since this began. Is it Microsoft arrogance or will they eventually get their 'yes' one way or another?
