Funny article, e-bay is so full of problems for sellers, and working with paypal, i don’t see the advantage of selling there when almost everyone can rip you off and walk away with paypal agreement :/

Great article. I used to sell on Ebay – not anymore. Between revolving Ebay rules, thieves and just flat out stupid folks I bailed.

A signed delivery note via Australia post (our national mail carrier) is currently not accepted; only signatures via courier companies are accepted. Note that that the courier companies do not verify who you are so you can simply put a false signature.

I have over 5,000 sales on ebay and have seen a lot of scams – I even fell for the ‘powersellers’ scam.
If you are lucky enough to not encounter any of this ‘jibberish’ then consider yourself lucky.

how can a buyer say he didnt receive an item if the seller requires signature delivery? Your article doesnt make sense. I have over 1000 sales on ebay all with positive feedback and have never encountered nor heard of any of this jibberish.

An investigation currently underway indicates that an individual is carrying out libellous activities on this site. These activities include postings that are meant to impersonate an ecommerce in an effort to slander this enterprise.

I run a web site dedicated to scams and the ebay section is huge, there are simply way too many scams (I count 17 at the moment) on ebay and something really needs to be done; but while ebay have no vialbe competition and still collect their fees I cannot see it happening.
