Happy vernal equinox. It is now officially spring. You’re all permitted to be happy again!
- eBay looks to be in trouble: CNET says The only thing saving eBay is no competition. Meanwhile the NYT says eBay is restructuring worldwide operations. You know what restructuring means—layoffs. (Though eBay says it’s less than 1% globally.)
- Mahalo has added some new features: Reviews and Ratings. They also say they only approve 20% of submitted links and get 4.2 million monthly uniques.
- Is Facebook on the decline in the UK? Hitwise’s data seems to say so. Also check out the last graph: Bebo has longer session times than MySpace or Facebook in the UK. There’s more to that social network than just a silly name!
- Thinking of starting a social network? Here are some unmet wishes for social networks that could set you apart.
NOW spring has sprung!
