I know you’re tired of listening to reading me after that Ask article, so I’ll keep this short. Here’s your links!
- I thought they were going to be calling themselves Platform A now. ClickZ reports that Advertising.com Launches CPC-based Video Ad Product featuring “5- to 9-second videos or Flash-based animations and is streamed within an in-player video environment.”
- This is from the New York Post, so there’s your grain of salt, but Yahoo puts Microsoft into a tough spot. If someone cares to explain the corporate politics that make this so, please do. But for the rest of us, the bottom line appears to be that Microsoft will have to go hostile or go home.
- In January, Liberty Media sued to get Barry Diller removed as IAC’s CEO. Now even Diller acknowledges that he could be out soon.

5-9 second ads? That’s getting down into the almost tolerable range. There are some sites that I specifically avoid because of their obnoxious pre-roll video ads, but I don’t know that I’d leave if we’re talking about 5 seconds.

How much product sales information can possibly be squeezed into 5 seconds? That’s ultra-quick.

“Going hostile or going home” is the only way to roll. lol. Microsoft will buy Yahoo in due time.
