Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Here’s the links of the (vaguely) Irish to ye!
I’m sure I can dig up an Irish ancestor; give me a couple days. In the mean time:
- Starting off with the most topical: St. Patrick’s Day Logos From Search Engine Community
- Maybe I’m the only one, but I’m always a little stunned when I’m reminded that Firefox isn’t related to Google in anyway. But now Google’s going to make sure I don’t forget as they launch their open source code browser
- Good to hear that federal judges have at least a modicum of common sense: Craigslist isn’t liable for discriminatory ads placed in their listings. My favorite part of the ruling, not quoted in this article, is that holding Craigslist liable would be like blaming a bank for bank robberies because people keep their money there.
- Bloomberg reports that “Time Warner’s Acquisition of Bebo May Not Fix AOL.” Y’don’t say.
- Hitwise reports that Yahoo! Buzz is catching up to Digg.com. Wait, what?!
- CBS has money-making blog widgets and they’ll share the profits: will the model work for them?
- The FTC has ruled in the CAN-SPAM case against ValueClick: ValueClick to Pay 2.9 Million
Now reach out and pinch somebody!

Speaking of Irish accents; it’s weird hearing ads on Hawaiian radio stations promoting St Patrick’s Day events.
