Kimberlie Dykeman’s SXSW Interview with Andy Beal

While at SXSW it was a pleasure to sit down with Kimberlie Dykeman and record a video interview for Web 2.0 TV.

Being given the chance to chat about Marketing Pilgrim and Radically Transparent was an honor. Getting to chat with someone as cool as Kimberlie was the icing on the cake.

    Andy: I don’t suppose anyone has a transcript of the interview? I hate wading through these videos.

    You mentioned that those looking into Web 2.0 are already behind because the industry has moved on to Web 3.0 and Web 4.0. I’d be interested in your take on what Web 3.0 and Web 4.0 are or will be, as there seems to be no definitve definition.

    My theory is that Web 3.0 is a term used by consultants to pretend they know something that Web 2.0 consultants don’t know. Web 4.0 is the Web 2.0 consultants saying “Not so fast Web 3.0 Consultants”. Of course I am just cynical like that ;)

    @Dean - you? cynical? Nevah! ;-)

    You hit the nail on the head with your description. :-)
