In Honor of Memorial Day (2008)

This time last year, I posted one of my all-time favorite photos. This year, I’m once again stealing from my wife’s idea, and posting another of my favorites.

I was both lucky and proud (of our armed forces) to get this shot outside the USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor.

A big "thank you" to all who serve (and died) protecting our country.

Great photo! I think a lot of people miss the fact that Memorial Day isn’t for a day off from school or work, but should be a time of remembrance first and foremost.
