A little perspective on mobile marketing from executives: they told Reuters that Mobile ads are years away from breakthrough. Be a bit reassured—these were advertising and telecom execs, not the ones who would be authorizing payment on mobile campaigns. though I’m not sure that’s a good thing.

I cant imagine any customer turning mobile ads on. I already hate it when i get one sms per month from my provider. Any additional ads, sent to me via bluetooth would sure immedeately let me turn this off. ( i think i have it already turned off, it is just a big security risk)
