    The cost to google for providing the day care facility for its employees is way over the cost for other similar facilities provided by other companies and naturally, google wants to do something about it. To the best of my knowledge, it is still being discussed and nothing has been decided.

    One cannot but feel sorry for Scrabulous. They took the concept online. Scrabble fought only after it found the game getting popular online. Leaving aside the copyright/trademark etc IP rights for a moment, something mutually agreeable could have been attempted with scrabulous. The online battle is the right way to go about it and both may benefit with improved products.

    I cant imagine how the costs for googles daycare can be so high. Is the food plated with gold? Are the toys made of gold? Do they have nobelprice-winners as teachers?
    This is a millionairs experiment and has nothing to to with the problems of “normal” parents.

    Oh? Odd, I’m days away from having my second child, I consider myself a “normal” parent, and I’m pretty sure the vast majority of parents do worry about paying for their children’s care—especially when the most convenient facility is going to raise rates by 75%.

    However, this isn’t a blog about the problems of normal parents. This is a blog about Internet marketing and its major players, like Google.

    I’m not a parent yet, but I had no idea how expensive daycare is! It’s a good thing they receive a Google sized paycheck, cause that would break the avg person. Then to consider upping that rate? For what? I doubt the ladies the employ in the center are receiving a 75% raise. That was a greedy decision to even consider increasing the rate!
