I’ve read a few articles about some quirks with the 3G. I’m sure it will be a stellar product though.

Looks like somebody (Viacom) is going to need some reputation management help. Any ideas?

I’ve been using the 1st generation iPhone since it came out. It replaced my blackberry and I couldn’t be happier. It’s just the best technology out there for someone that needs pda performance. I wish it was offered on different networks though. It would drive the price down of the handset while attracting new customers who are happy with their current provider. (Of course that’s assuming a network is technologically advanced to handle the load)

I have actually seen their photo-van in London myself. I tried taking a few pics on my phone but could not get quite close enough before it zoomed off.

Ha Ha, you need to be quicker than that Mr Marketing. Was it an iphone that you tried to take the pic with by any chance?

The Japanese response to the new 3G iPhone has been absolutely phenomenal. Regularly they are ahead of the west in the tech curve, with companies like Nokia not having much success with sales of their handsets. The iPhone, on the other hand is a status symbol that transcends these patterns.

I’m also using the first gen iPhone Steve. Would love to change but it’s a work contract, so I am just lucky to have what I’ve got.

Sounds like we had a few activation problems over here!!

They just released Wordpress for iPhone today - I’m *really* looking forward to seeing how that works out.

Although I admit, the Phone Saber (where you can turn your iphone into a jedi light saber) sounds mighty neat too…. :)
