Just because Yang made a statement like that, doesn't mean it's actually going to be a monopoly. A colloboration of two companies is a better way to put it.

I'm sure Google has heart enough to supply their adsense ads on Microsoft's search as well :) all they have to do is get on their knees and ask Google nicely.

Microsoft is actually scared crazy that Google will do to Microsoft what Microsoft did to Netscape a few years ago.

I mean it's eminent, not a question of if, only a question of when.

Well if Jerry thinks it would equate to a near monopoly he should call MSFT and ask them how they like dealing with all the law suits the get swatted with, because of their dominance.

It's such a fine line when you succeed at that level.

Maybe so, but Microsoft actually made a bid for Yahoo on January 31 of this year, and actually made an offer for the search portion of Yahoo last week. So this is pretty much news.

Hi

hasn't this rumour been raging for a few years now? I thought Microsoft and Yahoo were supposed to merge 2 years ago.

Great article though.

Thanks

This saga's beginning to drag now. In true soap opera fashion, let's have a dramatic twist to make things ineresting.

You are doing well, Jordan! Your use of language is most entertaining! Making fun of the Microhoo saga is about the only approach that works for me. Gotta laugh at the dogs chasing their own tails around and around and around. Hopefully they tire soon!
