Yahoo has partnered with LucidMedia to bring contextually targeting capabilities to the company’s RightMedia ad exchange.
Microsoft has re-launched WindowsLive.com complete with unedited customer reviews. “We are letting our customers speak for themselves through our site,” said Marty Collins, Senior Product Marketing Manager. “Many of its pages will feature unedited multimedia stories, tips, advice and comments on how they’re using Windows services. And the community members, not Microsoft, will decide which customer-generated content is most valuable.”
Steve Jobs’ internal mail is truly an effective way to own up to a major mistake instead of passing the buck downward as other cases are known to have been done. I admire him his honesty.
For once, Yahoo seems to have taken a step quicker than Google – they still haven’t figured (or implemented) yet how to use their AdWords/AdSense contextual capabilities within DoubleClick.

I love the way everyone thinks we are behind in the UK. Most of us have been using Google for ages, I’m surprised the stats are as low as 79%.
Long ago I used Ask Jeeves (now just Ask) but that is cumbersome in comparison.
