Google Chrome First Look at Google’s New Browser

Just as soon as Google makes Google Chrome available, I’ll take a look and let you know my thoughts on Google entering the browser space. In the meantime, here’s a screenshot (floating around the blogosphere) so you know what it will look like.

    @Andy

    I am using Chrome to comment here, it is really fast, seems to be fastest of all the browser available in the market. I tried with couple pages which normally takes time to load but this browser does the job better.

    Hey, i hate as i don’t see my usual spell check tool at the top. Interesting, i had no errors as such till i wrote this paragraph but i typed “spellcheck” above and it showed me in the browser like mozilla does. I am happy again.

    I’m ready to take the plunge and take Chrome for a spin. Curious who opted in to send “optional usage statistics and crash reports” to Google?

    I love it. I have downloaded and installed it. It’s like taking a V8 sportscar for a spin, it’s all about speed and just the simplicity of driving, doesn’t really have the comfort extras of regular cars. It’s user friendly and faster.

    Well… I’ve used Firefox, Flock, IE7 (and all the others), Opera and Safari… Chrome doesn’t seem to make much of a difference to my download speeds.

    Personally think I’ll stick to Flock for now. But who knows where Chrome will go?

    Looks pretty neat web browser. I believe Google will not come out with anything of lower quality than firefox and IE. Definitely worth a try

    Well, it will take time to get used to it but here is the thing: This browser is really fast, they combined the google search with browser. You can type any search query in address bar. This is little bit irritating for me. But i might feel more comfortable in time. It is early to make harsh comments, lets try and see…

    MGA how long have you been using it now and which browser were you using before that you are comparing it with.

  25. MGA Says:

    September 4th, 2008 at 12:36 pm

    I was using both IE and Firefox. But i became a firefox fan for the last 6 months, i am kind of old school. I need time to adopt for the new browser. I don’t want to jump into it because of being google product…
