Microsoft’s New “I’m a PC” TV Ads for Your Enjoyment

In case you’ve not seen the new Microsoft TV ads–the ones that replace follow-up the Seinfeld ones–we’ve got all three below.

    SLAM DUNK!

These make me actually feel good about using windows (a first in several years)! I mean seriously, why the hell didn’t they use these to begin with?? Real people (or at least actors that look real) always out beat high paid celebs!

I agree, these ads are actually well done. It would be better without the introduction that tries to without a doubt club you over the head with the obviousness of the derivative nature of the campaign, though.

Finally, Microsoft get themselves a clear, simple and effective campaign. One wonders why it took so long for them to tackle the ‘stereotype’. Joe Hall is right, it does make you feel a bit soft and fuzzy inside with regard to Windows – and I’m a mac devotee!

It’s interesting just how quickly they released these 3 new TV ads. Makes you think they did actually plan on only using Seinfeld for two ads, after all. ;-)

This is a horrible campaign but it’s getting hype and press so mission accomplished.

Subtle message, but message coming loud and clear. Why on earth they went through the first two I can’s figure out.

I like the ads. I think the Microsoft should have done this years ago.

Great follow to the Seinfeld ads. Love the grassroots vibe to them. I’m a PC.

Wow, nice turnaround after the Seinfeld failure. Hmmm… do you think they let those bomb to get us talking, and then hit us with the real thing when we were listening?

Wow… I was expecting these to suck as well… not only were they pretty good, but I even chuckled a couple of times…

They are good TV ads but they have a long way to go to beat the Apple ads.
