These make me actually feel good about using windows (a first in several years)! I mean seriously, why the hell didn’t they use these to begin with?? Real people (or at least actors that look real) always out beat high paid celebs!

I agree, these ads are actually well done. It would be better without the introduction that tries to without a doubt club you over the head with the obviousness of the derivative nature of the campaign, though.

Finally, Microsoft get themselves a clear, simple and effective campaign. One wonders why it took so long for them to tackle the ’stereotype’. Joe Hall is right, it does make you feel a bit soft and fuzzy inside with regard to Windows – and I’m a mac devotee!

It’s interesting just how quickly they released these 3 new TV ads. Makes you think they did actually plan on only using Seinfeld for two ads, after all.

They are good TV ads but they have a long way to go to beat the Apple ads.
