So what do you think of our new look?
If you’re scratching your head and asking "what new look?" then you either need to clear your browser cache or you’re reading this from your RSS reader.
For those of you reading this on MarketingPilgrim.com, you’re enjoying a new look and layout that I hope will help you get even more value out of the site.
It’s been two years since our last re-design, so it felt like it was time to spruce things up again. As before, I tapped into the awesome talents of James Mathias of OneLotus–who has the uncanny ability to take my poorly crafted Photoshop mock-ups and turn them into a work of art.
Here’s just a few new things you’ll find on the site:
Over the coming weeks, you’ll see further announcements–including the addition of some great new contributors.
Let me know what you think of the new design and especially if you find any bugs.

I like the links (fresh, popular, pilgrim picks) on the sidebar as that gives easy access to a wealth of information. While I like the prominence of the search box in the header, the look of it just doesn’t strike me; it feels like the typing area should be bigger or wrap, or the search button is out of place.

Nice new look, Andy. One design element threw me off at first on the blog home page. Below each post’s jump link is a horizontal line, followed by the categories and house ad for Trackur.com. The crime scene tape (for lack of a better term) is immediately below the links to separate posts, followed by another horizontal line after the post title and meta. With the two horizontal lines and crime scene tape (and occasional Adsense ads), it is difficult to tell where one post begins and another ends. The space in between the horizontal lines looks like its own separate area, even though there are elements from two posts within them.
I’m not trying to be picky, just offering my “first glance” reaction. Overall though, very well done.

Yeah I like it more too – although I’ve not been using the site for long! It is much cleaner than the old version.

Pretty cool and clean. I’m looking at it in Firefox 3 and there seem to be some every-so-slight alignment issues in the bottom half of the sidebar area and the searchbox takes up 2 lines. Love the tabs and the ad placement. Nice!
