The team down at Google has just unveiled the latest version of their AdWords Editor. The update is heavily focused on providing advertisers with campaign critical metrics.

AdWords Editor version 7.0 comes just 2 months after the last major upgrade (version 6.5 in Oct 2008). This latest round of improvements covers the following areas (as detailed in the release notes):
Two other minor changes were noted for the release:
Advertisers will welcome the latest upgrade, as the more useful metrics included in the editor, the easier it is for them to make informed decisions and changes with their campaigns.
For a comprehensive run-down of the Version 7.0 upgrade, head over to the AdWords Editor site.

I am yet to update because I’m afraid my campaign settings might be lost. I’ll do it after the holiday season to be on the safe side.

My favorite change is the quality score. I don’t like guessing. I like to know what works and what doesn’t especially if it involves marketing, advertising, and money. I love that they help us improve our landing pages, ads, and relevant keywords. It’s awesome. Especially after the “Google Slaps”.
