I hadn't given any thought to the local search option so thank you for that. I have also wondered how much attention is given to directory listings when you are stuck on a page with 50 other businesses.

Cheshire Mortgage Broker's last blog post..Hello world!

Your article is right-on. We have a customer (an online agency) that has been using our tool for one of their clients. This particular client runs a large Private Equity firm and when you "Google" his name or his company, the results are not pretty in what others say. They have been using our tool along with others like Namez to help change this. Why? Because when you ask people to invest over $10M, someone is going to Google you!

Of course, this also raises a number of points on "should people due this". As a vendor, we stay away from this but reputation matters online.

Great article and thank you for posting this. We are seeing a growing demand from customers that our concerned about their brand's reputation and this article is something we are passing along.

Directory link building a bit takes more time than other method of SEO but optimization is long term solution of link page and internet business and services. In this link building keywords and content of link page should be appropriate and of good quality.
