When word leaked that Microsoft was testing its "Kumo" alternative search engine internally, a company spokesperson told me that there were no plans to re-brand Live Search to Kumo.

So why the effort to create a new Kumo hompage then?

Kumo is Japanese for “Spider”, a fitting name for a search engine with its eye on the Asian market! Would make sense with that Chinese dragon.

Awesome,I wish Google search Has Dark and more art like that, for me ,Kumo is a breakthrough of search design ,compare to search me and twitter search that has there own “Value as search engine contender” I think Kumo,is try to be one of it.Follow not the innovations, they Follow the Design ,they try to attract to “see there new look and start to search with it.well for me,that a good a tempt.and although “winning will be hard work to do,.at least they Try to”Good Luck Kumo.Beside Design I hope I could find another “innovations from you

Microsoft has really tried every trick in the book to come out on top.

I wonder if they can out do the Live Search Cashback of 30% that they did over the holidays! Now talk about throwing money at a problem (down the toilet)
