The emerging value of Twitter is its search capabilities. For that reason alone Google will look to buy Twitter.

Also, the fact that Eric Schmidt recently denied that Google was looking to buy Twitter which in CEOese means “Yes, We are looking to buy Twitter”

I second that, Abdellah. If Twitter is smart, I think they will hold out for at least another year. It’s a popular service now, but the Internet is finicky and fleeting. If, in the next year or so, it’s still popular, (which I think it will be) then maybe they can look into merging/selling… I think waiting will ensure a higher price and/or an elongated lifespan.

Google has to find a way to work with twitter via some sort of partnership or by simply buying them up.

Twitter has simply too big of a market share on information being passed around which is seemingly Google’s most sought after commodity.
