I tried this out myself on my Curve and I love it. It could stand for some improvements, but so could a lot of things.

Having issues leaving a comment Andy!

Here is my comment again:
I am so excited that this new APP store finally launched! I have the Blackberry Storm through Verizon, how do I access this APP store? Is there a certain URL I need to navigate to? Thanks!

Just received a nice letter from my friends at Verizon that my 2 year anniversary is coming up and now would be the best time to upgrade. Still on the fence of leaving my totally reliable, yet incredibley uncool BB 8830 for the Storm. My issue - the touch screen is tough to touch if your fingernails are longer than 1 cm and that's so girly, I know.

Plus I just trained my thumbs on how to go where I need them on the mini keyboard. Throw is the App World and I'm lost. Ugh. The decisions!

I reluctantly got a BB Storm back in January instead of an iPhone when my Verizon contract was up for renewal. The reason? I couldn't risk the AT&T service that many people complain about. Of course I wanted an iPhone for the "sizzle" but have been pleasantly surprised by the Storm. It's not perfect (yet, future firmware upgrades will help) but does 99.9% of what I need it to do reliably. In the end, that's more important to me than a few more apps.

I just downloaded App World the other day and it's a definite "win" for RIM. Yes, it's more expensive and offers fewer apps than Apple's App Store, but it helps BB users finally close the gap with our iPhone-using colleagues.

Now, if the iPhone (4.0?) is available on VZW by the time my current contract expires in 2 years, I'll be the first to switch. But I'm happy for now though.
