Silicon Alley Insider’s Chart of the Day sums up the recent growth of online advertising revenue–or lack thereof.

Anyone concerned?

I guess I am not overly surprised or concerned. With the economy as it is (in the gutter) everyone is cutting back on things and why be surprised that online ad growth is one of them. You have to look at the fact that people are using social media outlets as a means to get the word out — and hello they are free. This is what I am talking about:
    •Digg
    •Facebook
    •Reddit
    •del.icio.us

Sure everyone that is offering advertising online should be somewhat worried, but I bet TV and print are worse off.

It depends whether you are a publisher or an advertiser. It's a great time to advertise your own products as the competition is lower.
