Before a publisher could easily get minimum 15 cents a click and wouldn't have to worry about going below that when sending traffic away from his website. Now Adsense publishers are lucky if they can get 5 or 10 cents a click in most niches. I think Adsense has a real problem with Google getting greedy and also the advertisers on the other end getting smarter. I have seen many even small websites start going towards direct sales.
