		<description>We have Google to blame for the extended public betas. Companies used to use &quot;beta&quot; for closed testing or just for a few weeks in the public domain. Google comes along and now companies are content to spend months--years--in beta.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What I don&#039;t understand is why Google feels the need to use the term. I&#039;m pretty sure it doesn&#039;t offer them any legal protection if the crap hits the fan.</description>
