Pingdom reports that Google made a stunning $209,624 profit per employee in 2008.

Perhaps just as impressive is Microsoft’s $194,297 per person. When you consider MSFT has 4x the employees as Google–which typically means a lot more "non revenue generating" jobs–that’s quite an achievement.
Any surprises on that list? Yahoo, anyone?

I don’t find this surprising because Google is a great company but the amazing thing is microsoft has 4 times as many employees and they earn a lot.

I am really surprised to see that Yahoo has a spot on that list! Most of their employees suck!
Even though some Google teams really need some improvements, it's no surprise that Google is at the top of the list.
