Win Copies of Dan Schawbel’s “Me 2.0″ Book

It’s been almost 2 years since Dan Schawbel introduced himself to me via email. Barely a month later he asked me to help judge his Personal Brand Awards. At the time, I had never heard of Dan, so put him through the wringer–asking him lots of questions before agreeing.

Since then, I’ve kept in touch with Dan, did an interview with him, and watched him grow to become one of the foremost authorities on personal branding–all while yet to reach his 25th birthday!

Dan has taken his experience and expertise and distilled it into a new book entitled Me 2.0. While aimed at those leaving college–or early in their career–it’s really for anyone that has yet to build an online brand. We covered personal branding extensively in Radically Transparent, but Dan dives a lot deeper and uses himself as a case study for helping those that don’t yet have a reputation to protect!

A smidge over 200 pages, you’ll have it read in a weekend and it will pay dividends when it comes to your career.

How to enter this contest? Simply leave a comment below and we’ll randomly pick 3 winners (deadline for entry is 6pm ET this Wednesday).

That’s all you need to do! And, if you don’t win, you can grab a copy from your favorite bookstore or online.

Winners: Congrats to the following…

I’m moving to SF soon to look for a job. A scary prospect for sure, but have already signed up to volunteer (and attend for free) a bunch of conferences. Printed some artsy biz cards. Published in BusinessWeek. Reaching out on Twitter. Professionalizing my blog. Contacting former professors and colleagues. Trying to line up side projects related to online marketing. And reading a TON of blogs to keep up to date. What else does this book have for me?

As a master student in the final phase of his study, the tips which Dan is providing over Twitter and his blog are very helpful.

I hope that with help of his book it is possible to re-think a good strategy for personal- and business branding and using the social networks and other tools optimally.

Would be awesome if it’s possible to grab a copy of the book, since it is not easy to get one over here in Europe.

Dan keep up the good work, providing great info to you followers !

I read Personal Branding and Seth Godin every day; what an awesome perspective to approach an employees contribution to their organization. Dan purports personal excellence and Seth promotes permission to promote. It asks and answer questions from the foundation level of business. How do I move my organization forward. If you share these answers with internal stakeholders in your organization you can move them along as well.
