Our Top Five Finalists for the 4th Annual SEM Scholarship Contest

OK, I’ve made you wait long enough.

Here are the five finalists for our 4th Annual Search Marketing Scholarship contest. In no particular order:

We’ve heard back from all of our judges and I’m counting the votes. On Friday, I’ll announce our winner and also reveal the visitor, bounce rate, and time on page numbers for each entry.

    Yeah, social traffic seemed to be a huge factor. I tried to target some organic traffic, but 1 month isn’t a lot of time.

    @Justin organic traffic is good in the long run. But, for one month, getting organic traffic is not possible. So, should this still be called SEM Contest :-)

    Awesome, happy to see I made the top 5. The judges Holistic Online Marketing are going to Holistic Online Marketing have a hard time Holistic Online Marketing deciding which article Holistic Online Marketing to choose. I Holistic Online Marketing hope mine wins.
    I think Holistic Online Marketing my next article will be on subliminal advertising.

    @Justin & @Asif – totally agree on the social media front. For my article “You Know You Work in Search When” I worked a couple SM channels pretty hard including twitter, dzone, su, fb, linkedin, etc but I didn’t really bother with a link building strategy like a good seo should (and I’m normally a good SEO:-).
