<description>Frank, people need to realize that you can&#039;t separate the online world from the real world, the online world is just another medium within the real world. If it is wrong to gain unauthorized access to someone else&#039;s private property, why is it so hard to realize that it is wrong to gain unauthorized access to someone&#039;s private computer. If doctors know they can&#039;t publish confidential information about their patients in the newspaper or on some billboard in the street, what on earth made these doctors think they can do it online on a bloody public site.

It is not a matter of simple common sense in the application of social media, people are lacking simple common sense in general, period. The same social and ethical rules that applies in the real word (or offline world if you like), also applies in the online world.

No wonder so many people fall for online scams, people forgot how to think for themselves (because technology is not really making our lives easier, its making our minds lazier).
