Twitter is not just growing in terms of using, but it is becoming a more recognizable brand every day and not just because you hear about it in television every hour or so, but also because more and more users give it a chance. I remember when Gmail came out - suddenly everyone were interested in Google - it's not that it was unknown before, but this really made it popular. I think Twitter is at that stage, and consequently, it would be wise to get all the help they can get.

Good luck Twitter! Excellent system which I really enjoy using.

If they hire the right minds to help build this out a bit now they will move in leaps and bounds, even then they already have. This is a good move on their part.
