		<description>From what i can tell, many companies will go off and create a &quot;Social&quot; team that is on the fringes of the rest of the marketing organization. They venture into new social spaces with campaigns but the rest of the old school side of the organization doesn&#039;t know/want to have anything to do with them.

If you&#039;re a marketing VP and you&#039;re thinking of creating a &quot;social media specialist,&quot; or &quot;social media team,&quot; beware. It may come with silo&#039;d results.
