Google continues to integrate more and more features into the web that is Google+.

The latest addition is the ability to share a Google Maps result with your Circles using a +snippet. It’s a handy option and can have many uses. The Google Lat Long blog reports

With today’s launch, Google Maps joins other Google products like Books, Offers and Product Search in having +snippets. And like Maps, what you see onscreen is what you share—just click on “Share…” in the Google+ bar to reveal the +snippet.

Here are a few examples of using +snippets for sharing from Maps.

For directions

For specific places (could be very valuable to businesses)

For map search

The easier it becomes for people to share the more likely the act of sharing occurs. That’s nothing new but each time Google increases the ability to share within their rapidly expanding social ecosystem the more useful that system becomes.
