There has been lots of talk lately about social media users being the stars of ads that their friends and other might see.

The Wall Street Journal put together this chart to give you a very good picture of just what is happening in the social space with its billion or so ‘stars’.


It’s all well and good but the glaring element is that Twitter has no opt-out. That’s wrong for the end user. Great for the marketer, bad for the end user.
